In Quincy, the Feather River College Golden Eagles had a strong start in their final game of the season against Sacramento City College, leading 3-0 for the first five innings. However, Sacramento City College came back in the later innings to win 13-3, advancing to the NorCal Regional Finals.
Feather River College Hosts CCCAA NorCal Super Regional: Local Teams Compete This Week
The Feather River College Golden Eagles will host the CCCAA NorCal Super Regional this week at the Eagles Nest in Quincy. The tournament, featuring Feather River, Skyline, and Sacramento City, will use a double-elimination format. The competition begins on Thursday when Skyline plays Sacramento City at 11 am. Feather River will face the losing team at 3:30 pm. Friday's schedule will depend on Thursday's outcomes, with games at either 11 am or 1 pm.
Feather River College Volleyball Triumphs: Teams Set for State Championships
The Feather River College Golden Eagle Beach Volleyball team has qualified for the California State Team Championship, to be held at West Valley College in Saratoga, California. They secured their spot by winning the NorCal team qualifier at their college on April 30th, defeating Monterey Peninsula College and Sierra College with scores of 5-0 and 3-0, respectively.

After an outstanding and very successful high school career playing multiple sports for the Del Norte Warriors, senior McKenna Curtis recently announced that she will join one of the top community college programs in the state after graduation.
