Downtown San Antonio rock bar announces permanent closure after 25 years of business
SAN ANTONIO — A beloved downtown San Antonio rock bar announced on Monday that it will close its doors after 25 years. In a Facebook post, Bonds Rock Bar said the property has been sold to a developer that will tear down the building to begin construction on a new hotel. The upstairs venue will close at the end of the year while its downstairs bar will remain open until developers begin the hotel project.
