8th Street Ale Haus is closing in June. But could it come back in the future?
SHEBOYGAN – 8th Street Ale Haus in downtown Sheboygan is closing after nearly 14 years of business. The brewpub, 1132 N. Eighth St., will shut its doors June 9. “We would like to thank all our patrons for the past 14 years of business,” 8th Street Ale Haus shared in a Facebook post. "Your love and passion for craft beer has been a true delight to be a part of. We thank you for letting us be a part of it, for the opportunity to serve you, and hope you continue on your craft beer journey.”

ELKHART LAKE – The completion of a new dam at the Sheboygan Broughton Marsh Park will be celebrated with a dedication. The roughly $3.7 million project called for replacing an outdated dam that was reaching the end of its lifespan, around 30 to 50 years old. The old dam was a fixed crest weir structure made of concrete.
