Elk Grove High School is marking the 35th anniversary of its Japanese Exchange Program, an important part of its language education. The program allows students from the U.S. and Japan to engage in cultural and educational exchanges. Each year, the school welcomes ten students and two chaperones from Ashidaifu High School and Ashidanfu High School in Japan. It also sends 8-12 of its students to Japan, led by teacher Ryan Christie.
