Couple Allegedly Tried To Sell Their Baby For $1,000 & A Six-Pack Of Beer
A couple was taken into custody last week for reportedly attempting to sell their 2-month-old baby at the campground where they resided. According to the probable cause affidavit, on Sept. 21, a campground manager alerted the Benton County Sheriff's Office (Benton County, Arkansas) after hearing that Shalene Ehlers and Darien Urban allegedly "tried to give away the baby for a six-pack of beer and then asked for $1,000 for the infant."
