Rising Country Artist Megan Moroney Coming to Arkansas
One of the hottest rising country stars is coming to El Dorado, Arkansas on Friday, October 11, 2024. The Georgia-born singer/songwriter has been making music since she was 16 years old. After several health setbacks during her high school years, Moroney graduated and was off to the University of Georgia where she studied accounting, she won the Miss Sorority Row pageant by performing a cover of Deana Carter’s “Strawberry Wine." It wasn't until she went on stage at a campus event that country star Chase Rice attended and noticed her talent and asked her to open up for him at the Georgia Theatre. Her songwriting skills were put to a test she passed and the rest is history as they say in the music business.
