Stick Tights Kicks Off Olean Concert Series
OLEAN, NY — On Thursday evening, Lincoln Park looked as if a magic door had opened, letting out a community that had been hibernating through a Western New York winter and an unusually cold spring, The weather was perfect and the music was delightful as several hundred people turned out to enjoy the first performance in the city’s annual concert series.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Stick Tights provided the entertainment, playing a wide array of popular songs that included “Get Back,” “Squeeze Box,” “Ooh La La” and many more. Audience members danced, sang and paraded their dogs through the park. One person stepped out of the crowd and played the cowbell while the four-piece band played “Don’t Fear the Reaper.” The concert series will continue on May 30 with an evening of classic rock by Pendleton Station. OLEAN, NY — The Olean Elks Club will offer patrons Mexican manicotti for takeout Wednesday, 3-6 p.m. Meals are $12 and each includes a side salad with Italian or ranch dressing and a roll with butter.
