Another Bossier Comedy Night Is Coming To The East Bank
There Has Been a Comedy Revival in Bossier. Don't Take This Serious Comedy has invested a lot of time and love into the community and brought several nights of laughter our way. Don’t Take This Serious Comedy announced a local comedy competition at the East Bank Theater in February. LoCo Fest was on a mission to find the "Local Comedy Champion". Over 30 comedians tried out and only 10 made it to the final stage. All 10 had about 5 minutes to make the crowd laugh and hopefully earn the vote from the public. Since LoCo Fest it feels like Bossier can't get enough of comedy Nights.
Now, Benton Traffic Could Get Ugly With Bridge Replacement
Motorists who normally head east of Benton on LA 160 towards Butler Hill Road or 7 Pines Road will soon have to find an alternative route. In a notice from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development we find that a $4 million project to remove and replace two bridges located on LA 160 over Cypress Bayou and Cypress Bayou Relief in north Bossier Parish is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 14.
