Invasion of the Brainiac Maniacs: Ohio indie rock legends come to Frankie's
Brainiac coming to Frankie’s on Saturday is kind of a big deal for Toledo music fans. Just ask Natasha Sanchez, store manager at Culture Clash Records, who is a huge Brainiac devotee. “They were the first to do what they were doing and they were so ahead of their time and people are hearing this music for the first time and it’s still just something that’s out of this world. To have a band with such a signature sound that stands out so much is amazing. No one else does it like Brainiac,” said Sanchez. Sanchez discovered Brainiac as a pre-teen while scouring the internet looking for bands from Ohio.
