Baldwyn Woman Charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine
On August 23, 2024, a traffic stop resulted in multiple misdemeanor charges for a Baldwyn woman. Prentiss County Deputy Kolby Knight made a traffic stop on 8315 on August 23. The driver, Alisa Reese, age forty eight, was arrested on multiple misdemeanor charges. After the arrest, Deputy Knight discovered that Reese, of Baldwyn, was in possession of a controlled substance, specifically crack cocaine, inside the jail.
Booneville Man Arrested on Numerous Misdemeanor Charges
On August 23, 2024, Prentiss County Deputy Ethan Hester conducted a routine traffic stop on County Road 5031. During the traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver, Brian Strange, age 52, was in possession of methamphetamine. Deputy Jimmy Jarman assisted with the traffic stop, which resulted in Strange's arrest.
Tupelo Man Served a Warrant for 2021 Case
On Saturday, September 28, 2024, Tupelo Police officers served Robert C. Keith, age fifty two, of Tupelo, a Lee County Circuit Court Capias Warrant. The warrant was served for driving under the influence of alcohol, 4th or subsequent offense.
Five Men Wanted in Lee County for Failing to Register as Sex Offenders
Five men are wanted in Lee County by Lee County Sheriff's Department for failing to register as sex offenders. According to a press release from Lee County Sheriff's Department, five men ranging in age from thirty four to sixty two are currently being searched for due to their failure to register themselves as sex offenders.
