Man seriously wounded in morning shooting in Birmingham
An investigation is underway after a man was shot in Birmingham. The shooting happened about 11 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of 56th Street South. Sgt. LaQuitta Wade said the victim’s condition is life-threatening. Additional details have not been released. One person has been detained for questioning. .
