JWP softball sees season come to an end with section tournament loss to Madelia
After having Tuesday’s Section 2A softball Tournament postponed a day due to severe thunderstorms in the region, the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton softball team hosted the Madelia Blackhawks in the opening round. The Tri-City United softball team had it's postseason opener delayed a day after fierce thunderstorms rolled through the region Tuesday night. Despite the delay, the Titans defeated Blue Earth Area 12-5 to advance into a matchup with top seeded Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Thursday.
