Cullman City Council moves toward airport expansion
CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman City Council on Monday approved resolutions to complete several years of pavement repairs and upgrades at Cullman Regional Airport, and pave the way for future expansion of facilities and services. CULLMAN, Ala. – Volunteers gathered at the Cullman City Cemetery on Friday, May 24, to honor those who served in the United States Armed Forces by placing flags at their graves. Under the guidance of the Cullman VFW, community members walked the cemetery, identifying the gravestones of past service members and placing American flags. CULLMAN, Ala. — The Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS) recognized Parkside and Cullman Area Technology Academy on Monday as Schools of Distinction from State School Board District 6. CCBOE recognizes student achievements
CULLMAN, Ala. – Prior to the Cullman County Board of Education (CCBOE) monthly meeting, Superintendent Dr. Shane Barnette recognized multiple student-athletes and scholars for their recent achievements. Allison Rice and Kallaway McKinnon from Cold Springs and Trey Thompson and Tyce Thompson from West Point were winners of the Elk’s Hoop Shoot competition, as well as participants in Southeast Regional competitions. Each finished in the top 12 of his or her age division. Rice placed 12th in the nation in the 8-9 girls division. Trey Thompson placed fifth in the nation for the 10-11boys’ division.
