Backstreet Mane Salon holds ribbon cutting
WEST JEFFERSON — The Ashe County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Backstreet Mane Salon to West Jefferson with a ribbon cutting on May 17. Owner Brandi Phipps opened up the salon in January of this year, becoming the first business to move into The Ole Burley Market in town. Backstreet Mane Salon came together through a collaboration with Salon 27 stylists Tiffany Grubb, Angel Jones, Lauren Moody and Nicole Blevins as well as The Hair Loft stylists Rikki Ball and Lauren Eldreth. The full-service salon will soon be welcoming two new stylists this summer as Madison Lee and Ashtyn Bedford will be joining the crew and accepting both new client and walk-ins. Coming soon, Backstreet Mane Salon will begin offering Halotherapy services in July. The salon is located at 139 Burley Avenue. For appointments and additional information, call (336) 846-3737.
