Police release bodycam footage after July fatal shooting at cemetery
FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Fort Collins Police released video Wednesday of a deadly shooting from July where an officer was also shot and wounded. The video was released after the Larimer County District Attorney's Office said that no officers would be charged in connection with the shooting, which resulted in the death of 42-year-old Clayton Pierce.

A routine inspection on September 3 of a longtime, popular restaurant in Fort Collins has earned them another follow up visit from inspectors to try again. As a reminder, restaurants in Larimer County are no longer rated or graded with feedback like "excellent," "good" or "fair." As of Jan. 1, 2020, they are simply allowed up to 49 points worth of violations to "pass." 50-109 points earn them another try at a "re-inspection," and anything over 110 earns them an immediate "closure."

The 49-year-old Loveland man charged with starting this summer's destructive Alexander Mountain Fire in Colorado appeared in court on Tuesday. Jason Hobby was arrested two weeks ago on charges including first-degree arson and impersonation of a police officer. During Tuesday's Larimer County Court appearance, the judge scheduled a disposition hearing for Hobby for Nov. 12.The Alexander Mountain Fire burned almost 10,000 acres in Larimer County over the summer. Sandra Spraker was charged with 99 counts in Larimer County District Court.
