JCBOE votes to raise property taxes amid large budget reduction
In the first year without COVID-19 era ESSER funds that heralds a decrease in revenues for the district’s FY 2024-2025 working budget, the Johnson County Schools Board of Education voted during its regular meeting on Sept. 23 to raise property taxes, but also voted to maintain motor vehicle taxes at their current rate.
