RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The Richmond Heights School District, after being turned down by voters in the spring, is back o the ballot this fall. The District is asking for the same amount of money, but is doing so in a way that is more friendly to seniors on a fixed budget.

The Shaker Schools Foundation inducted eight more alumni into its Alumni Hall of Fame on Sept. 14 at the Shaker Heights Country Club. The 2024 class join more than 330 graduates that have been inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame since its establishment in 1986. According to a news release from the foundation, inductees were selected for their contributions to healthcare, community impact, economic development, law, architecture, engineering, the arts, K-12 education and advocacy.

In response to recent security concerns, Shaker Heights High School enforced new safety protocols at their latest home football game against Brunswick.
