Ten Thousand Villages State College Store to Close
A nonprofit organization's State College store for ethically sourced products from artisans in developing countries is set to close after nearly six years in business. Ten Thousand Villages State College's retail shop at 1341 S. Atherton St. is expected to close mid-summer, according to a post on its Facebook page. "Even with generous financial and volunteer support, sales at our store have not been sufficient to cover expenses and sustain operations," the post stated.
