The Bucs announced Tuesday they’ll again break out their creamsicle jerseys for their Oct. 27 home game against the Falcons, marking the second consecutive season they’ll go retro.

Kickoff at Raymond James Stadium is at 1 p.m. The team also announced it will pay tribute to the 1979 team, which won the franchise’s first division title and reached the NFC title game.

The Bucs broke out their old jerseys for the first time since 2012 last season against Detroit. The nostalgic vibe — which included retro field stenciling — didn’t translate to success; the Lions prevailed, 20-6.

“Last season, the response from our fans for the return of the creamsicle uniforms was remarkably positive and the energy and excitement at Raymond James Stadium for that game was truly special,” Bucs chief operating officer Brian Ford said in a statement released by the team.

“We know how special these uniforms are to our long-time krewe members, and we are excited to continue honoring our rich history and building off the momentum that’s been created with another very memorable game that will celebrate our first division championship.”

Look for this year’s creamsicle atmosphere to mirror last season’s, with the theme prevalent everywhere from the jerseys to end-zone stenciling to the video boards. Additionally, the first 25,000 fans will receive Bucco Bruce baseball caps, courtesy of game sponsor Fifth Third Bank.

Tickets to all the team’s home games are on sale now and available for purchase at Buccaneers.com. Limited Buccaneers season pass memberships and single game tickets are available.
