Julio Foolio’s tragic murder case continues to progress. The police arrested three suspects this week and discovered they are alleged members of Yungeen Ace’s gang, who was one of Foolio’s rivals while he was alive.

On Monday (July 29), the Tampa Police Department held a press conference to announce they had arrested Isaiah Chance, Alicia Andrews, and Sean Gathright, TMZ reported. They found the suspects in Jacksonville and took them into custody, charging all three with first-degree murder. Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw said that, upon investigation, they determined that the three men were members of a rival gang connected to Yungeen Ace. They are still seeking out two more men, Davion Murphy and Rashad Murphy, that they believe were involved.

The Tampa police also shared footage from the night Foolio was killed. The video shows masked gunmen positioned in a Tampa Holiday Inn parking lot and shooting dozens of rounds at the vehicle that the late rapper was in.

Julio Foolio was in Tampa celebrating his 26th birthday. He initially held a party in an Airbnb but was kicked out due to exceeding the allotted capacity. He moved the festivities to the local Holiday Inn and the suspects were tracking him throughout the night before gunning him down in the parking lot.

Yungeen Ace released a diss track aimed at Foolio titled “ Do It ” hours after he died. “Seven days a week, we run this bi**h, we spinnin’/ Any day this week, I bet a ni**a come up missin’/ Ni**a better stay on point, he better not be out here slippin’/ Ayy, let’s call his bi**h, these bi**hes up in here/ Ayy, ni**a be tryin’ and sh*t, ni**a be dyin’ and sh*t, uh, uh/ Tell him go free that h* ‘fore Tillie go blam the bi**h, uh, uh,” he rapped.

The two rappers feuded for years as part of a larger beef between Foolio’s KTA crew and Ace’s ATK crew. Their tension found its way onto wax in the popular record “Who I Smoke?” which featured Yungeen Ace. Foolio responded with “When I See You,” which sampled the news coverage of Ace’s brother’s death.
