Tristan Wirfs is getting a massive pay raise.  Adam Schefter's sources report that he has agreed to terms with the Bucs for a five-year $140.63 million contract extension.  Wirfs was entering the last year of his contract. Though he held out of the mandatory minicamp earlier in the summer, he did report to training camp.

Wirfs will be the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history. 25-year-old Wirfs already has an extensive resume which includes a Super Bowl Championship, three trips to the Pro Bowl, and first-team and second-team All-Pro designations.

Wirfs is a workhorse who has played in 100% of the offensive snaps in every NFL game he has started (63).  He joins fellow 2020 draft mate Antoine Winfield Jr. in getting an extension from the Bucs.  Though they play on opposite sides of the ball, Winfield Jr. is one of Wirfs' biggest fans commending his character earlier in training camp.
