Calling it a social media rule on birthdays, Tom Brady nearly broke the internet with his Instagram shirtless selfie .  It was one of eight photos the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback shared of his children and himself celebrating great moments of his 46th year as he celebrated turning 47 on August 3.

Brady still looks football fit in the selfie. He is preparing for his new role as a FOX analyst.  His first assignment is for the Week 1 game between the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys.

Buccaneers fans want to know when they will see Brady back in the neighborhood.  His name still comes up in conversation often among his former teammates. Chris Godwin talked this week about how his style and demeanor in the huddle compared to current quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Brady's broadcasting schedule is not firm beyond Week 1, but there is a possibility he could make a Week 10 visit to Raymond James Stadium to work the Bucs game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Though Brady seems to be happily retired, there are still lingering rumors of an NFL comeback. ProFootball Talk speculated that he is in a perfect position in the broadcast booth to keep his eye on the competition.  Should starting quarterbacks suffer injuries during the season, some believe Brady's phone will ring like Joe Flacco's did last season when the Cleveland Browns called him to action.

Only Brady knows for sure if he would entertain those phone calls. In the meantime, fans will once again welcome him into their homes on television during NFL football weekends.
