OLCC rolls out new process to apply for liquor licenses
OREGON – The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission or OLCC is rolling out a new process for businesses to apply for liquor licenses. Earlier this week the commission launched the new Cannabis and Alcohol Management Program (CAMP). Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek will be sharing a stage with Julia Louis-Dreyfus at next week’s Democratic National Convention in Chicago. The “Veep” and “Seinfeld” star will host a panel highlighting some of the country’s Democratic female governors on the third day of the four-day convention in Chicago in partnership with the Democratic Governors Association. Seven other Democratic women will share the stage, including Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs, Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly, Maine Gov. North Marion Youth Athletics opens flag football registration
For any aspiring future North Marion High School football players, the time to jump in and learn the fundamentals of the sport has arrived. Registration is now open for flag football, offered by North Marion Youth Athletics for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders. The season will run from August to October with games played on Saturdays. Due to the popularity of youth soccer within the community, North Marion Youth Athletics is actively looking for options that will allow interested youth to participate in both sports. The organization is also in search of coaches and volunteers. Registration can be completed through Sports Engine.
