WOODBRIDGE, NJ -- Madelyn Brenner pitched a two-hitter and Woodbridge defeated Highland Park, 9-0, in softball on Monday.

Brenner struck out seven batters and walked none in seven innings.

Gia Pedde hit a home run and a double and drove in three runs, and Vanessa Morales was 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, four runs scored and an RBI for the Barrons (11-8), who scored three runs in the second inning to take a 6-0 lead.

Morales has a .475 batting average this season.
