Belmar to Honor Fallen Heroes with Memorial Day Ceremony

BELMAR, NJ - The Belmar community is invited to join the Mayor and Council for a Memorial Day Ceremony to honor those who have bravely given their lives in service to the nation. The ceremony is scheduled for Monday, May 27th, at 9:00 am, and will take place at Memorial Field on Monument Row, nestled between 12th and 13th on Main Street.

This annual event is a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by military personnel to protect freedom and peace. Attendees are encouraged to gather together to pay their respects and remember the courage of these fallen heroes.

Regardless of weather conditions, the Memorial Day ceremony will proceed as planned. Should inclement weather arise on Monday morning, the event will be relocated to the Courtroom at Borough Hall to ensure that the community can still pay their respects comfortably.

The ceremony promises to be a respectful and solemn occasion, providing an opportunity for reflection and gratitude for the ultimate sacrifices made by American servicemen and women.
