    Roselle Public Schools Hosts ‘Breaking Barriers’ Event For Teachers and Educators

    ROSELLE, NJ - Teachers and educators across the Roselle school district came together on Monday for a “Breaking Barriers” learning event at Abraham Clark High School.

    “Breaking Barriers shows our dedication to ongoing professional growth and teaching innovation,” said Dr. Lissette Gonzalez-Perez, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Equity. “By giving our educators a chance to learn about the latest practices and technologies, we are helping them overcome obstacles and improve the learning experience for our students.”

    The event was hosted by the Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Equity and focused on exploring innovative teaching practices and activities. These included classes on artificial intelligence integration in education, advanced math instructional practices, Individualized Education Program development, and the usage of social media in education to name a few.

    “This professional learning day underscores our dedication to fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence,” said Superintendent of Schools Nathan L. Fisher. “The diverse range of sessions ensures that our educators are equipped with the tools and strategies necessary to meet the diverse needs of our students and to drive their success.”
