CLARK, NJ — TAPinto Clark just checked in with Aleks Ochocki, the head coach of the U.S. Olympics Women's Saber team, currently in Paris, as the 2024 Summer Olympics wrap up.

We already told you a while back about paying a visit to the Advance Fencing & Fitness Academy (AFFA) in Garwood, where Ochocki is the owner and head instructor, training both current elite athletes and the next generation of fencers.

Everyone in the community is so proud of Ochocki, a 2008 Arthur L. Johson High School alumnus, and his team, as they soak in the final days of the Paris Olympics.

Ochocki told us that, despite not securing quite the results he was hoping for, it's "definitely been a great experience." When we spoke with him, he said that he and the team were now "just enjoying the end of the Olympics until the closing ceremonies."

We really appreciate Ochocki taking the time to speak with us (like, seriously, he's in Paris, at the Olympics, and he's finding a moment to tell TAPinto Clark how things are going!), and we're especially looking forward to connecting with him once he's back home.
