Fire Hydrant Maintenance Starting Monday Night In Verona

VERONA, NJ - The Township of Verona Public Works will be conducting maintenance on fire hydrants for three weeks starting Monday, through Thursday, September 5.

Hydrant flushing will take place between the hours of 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., Monday through Thursday. The Township of Verona says residents may experience brown water or low water pressure during these times.

To counteract this, the Township of Verona says to run your cold water for about five minutes.
