South Brunswick Council Approves Four Ton Weight Limit on Miller Road

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The township council has passed an ordinance to establish a four ton weight limit on Miller Road. The council unanimously approved the new restriction at their regular meeting on Wednesday.

According to the ordinance, the township received notice from the New Jersey Department of Transportation requesting a 4-ton weight limit restriction for the entire length of Miller Road. The NJDOT’s recommendation is based on an investigation and an evaluated traffic report.

Miller Road is located off of Route 130 and connects Friendship Road and Broadway Road. The new weight restriction will go into effect on Tuesday, September 10.
