    Asbury Park Opens Cooling Center in Response to Excessive Heat Warning

    ASBURY PARK, NJ — In response to the forecasted excessive heat, the City of Asbury Park has announced the opening of a cooling center on Wednesday, August 28. The center will be located at the Senior Center, 1201 Springwood Avenue, 2nd Floor, and will be open from 9 AM to 6 PM to provide relief to residents.

    For any questions regarding the cooling center, residents can contact the City of Asbury Park Social Services at 732-502-4528. After hours, the Asbury Park Police Department can be reached at 732-774-1300.
