Keep Paramus Glittering! Sign Up for Town Clean-Up

PARAMUS, NJ - The Environmental Commission is hosting a town clean-up on Saturday, September 28, and they are seeking volunteers to participate.

Beginning at 8 a.m., after check-in, volunteers will join together to pick-up items that belong in the garbage or recycling.

To participate, you must register by emailing Environmental@paramusborough.org or call Nicole at 201.265.2100 x3107.

Forms are required to participate, there are no walk-up registrations allowed, so be sure to register in a timely fashion. The deadline for sign-ups will be Monday, September 16.

The event is open to groups of all ages, but anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. If you require service hours or a certificate of participation, please let organizers know and they can provide one at the conclusion of the event.

The event itself will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., but you must meet up at the DPW at 1 Carlough Drive for sign-in. Sign in will begin at 8 a.m. and include a light breakfast, safety speech, and collection of all forms, as well as “take attendence”.

The borough is able to host these events through a grant received from New Jersey Clean Communities and with the help of Paramus DPW and all the wonderful volunteers.
