JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ -- Corleil Thomas scored two touchdowns in the first half to help stake Jackson Liberty to a 21-point lead on its way to a 34-0 football victory over Hamilton West in the opener for both teams on Thursday night.

Mason Ciccariello's 7-yard TD pass to James Dressler and Anthony Salaiis' extra point gave Jackson Liberty a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. Thomas scored on short runs in each of the first two quarters.

Hamilton West finished with a net total of 78 yards, including 42 on one reception by Luke Bruch.

Hamilton West had defeated Jackson Liberty, 7-0, last season. Ciccariello was 12 for 14 for 153 yards passing for Jackson Liberty.
