A diver taking part in the annual two-day lobster miniseason hunt found a package of cocaine floating in the water Wednesday afternoon, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

The diver was in the ocean off Tavernier, in the Upper Keys, around 2:15 p.m. when he found the package, Adam Linhardt, sheriff’s office spokesman said. It appeared to be about a kilogram of cocaine.

The photo released by the sheriff’s office shows the cocaine wrapped and labeled “Bunny.”

Linhardt said the sheriff’s office turned over the contraband to the U.S. Border Patrol.
