Michigan man convicted of threatening county prosecutor
EAST TAWAS, MI — An Oscoda man has been convicted of threatening his former landlord, who also happened to be the county prosecutor. An Iosco County jury on July 12 found Dominique J. Simo, 40, guilty of malicious use of a telecommunications device. The misdemeanor is punishable by up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

(CBS DETROIT) - A 22-year-old Michigan man will give up $630,000 in cryptocurrency and cash as well as his computer tower after pleading guilty in a massive mPerks cyber theft scheme that cost Meijer more than $1 million. Nicholas Mui of Grand Haven pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of conducting a criminal enterprise in the theft and sale of information associated with mPerks accounts, the Michigan Attorney General's Office said.
