Child dies in possible drowning at Pflugerville apartment complex pool
A child died in a possible drowning at a Pflugerville apartment complex swimming pool Saturday morning, the Pflugerville Police Department said. Approximately 8:30 a.m., police responded to an apartment complex at 1010 S. Heatherwilde Blvd. after receiving a call about a possible drowning of a child. When officers arrived, a bystander was performing life-saving measures. Emergency personnel then took over. The child was taken to St. David's North Austin Medical Center and pronounced dead.
