            • Car Temps:
              • Thought this was a GREAT RULE OF THUMB to share:
                • In generally
                  • It’s safe to leave a dog in a car for a maximum of five minutes if the outside temperature is between 30–70°F and above freezing.
                • Avoid leaving your dog unattended in the car, because the inside of a car can reach dangerous temperatures very quickly.
                  • I.e. on a 70°F day, the inside of a car can reach 100°F in as little as 20 minutes
                  • On very hot days, it can reach temperatures over 110°F.
                    • Dogs can suffer from heatstroke in as little as 15 minutes, which can be fatal, and some breeds are more at risk than others.
