HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The Tell City Police Department is remembering July 3 in honor of Sgt. Heather Glenn.

Officials state Glenn’s cruiser will be posted in front of the Tell City police station until sunset on July 3 to remember the fallen sergeant.

Glenn was shot and killed in the line of duty one year ago in front of Perry County Memorial Hospital while investigating a domestic dispute.

The gunman, Sean Hubert, was later killed by fellow officers.

The Tell City Police Department is inviting the community to stop by throughout the day for a moment of reflection and to observe a commemorative plaque on the outside of the building plus a memorial display in the lobby.
