The San Miguel County Sheriff's Office is on the hunt for a "punk-ass clown" who vandalized the historic Tomboy mine in Telluride.

A large piece of graffiti can be seen painted onto the stone at the site.

San Miguel County Sheriff Bill Masters is offering a reward of $500 to anyone who has information that could lead to an arrest. Tipsters can remain anonymous and should call 970-728-1911.

An image of that graffiti has been included in this piece in case someone who's reading recognizes it.

Tomboy mine was first established in 1880 at an elevation of 11,500 feet in Savage Basin , which is near Telluride. It's a popular spot to visit for those curious about Colorado's Wild West days.
