Shedeur Sanders Reveals Unexpected Choice For Favorite College Football Stadium

On Tuesday's premiere of Shedeur Sanders' new podcast, 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders , the Colorado Buffaloes star quarterback revealed which college football stadium, outside of the Buffs' Folsom Stadium, is his favorite.
Sanders joked that his 37 games played were all a blur to him before revealing that his favorite stadium to play in was the Arizona State Sun Devils' Mountain America Stadium.
"I would definitely say I like Arizona State," Sanders said. "Yeah, it was lively at Arizona State."
Sanders' choice of Arizona State can be viewed as unexpected, given the fact that the Buffaloes played games in a few historic college football venues last year, including Oregon's Autzen Stadium and against UCLA in the Rose Bowl. However, it's worth noting that Sanders and Colorado lost to Oregon and UCLA last season, whereas it was able to take down Arizona State.
Mountain America Stadium, located in Tempe, Arizona, seats 53,599. Despite the seating capacity being on the lower side for major college football programs, the Sun Devil faithful have no problem turning up the noise, especially for an evening matchup like they had last year.
Unfortunately for Sanders, the Buffaloes and Sun Devils do not play one another during the regular season this fall, but Sander was able to sneak out a 27-24 victory over Arizona State in Tempe last fall.
Arizona State and Colorado both join the Big 12 this fall after leaving the Pac-12.

Formerly known as Sun Devil Stadium, the venue was downsized to create a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for fans, adding better seats, amenities, and accessibility features.
Sanders enters his second and final season at Colorado after transferring from Jackson State alongside his head coach/father, Deion Sanders. Although Sanders suffered a nation-leading 52 sacks last fall, he was able to pass for 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns with 3 interceptions.
Sanders and the Buffaloes will enter the fall with hopes to improve on last season's 4-8 record within the newly rejoined Big 12 conference.
Colorado opens its 2024 college football campaign against FCS-power North Dakota State Bison from Folsom Field on Aug. 29 at 8:00 pm (ET), airing on ESPN.
