MANASQUAN — The curtains rose and fell on another wildly successful fundraiser hosted by the Liv Morro Foundation over the weekend. Last Friday, the Liv Morro Foundation returned to Bar Anticipation in Lake Como for a fundraiser to benefit the Manasquan High School Theater Department. The event featured an open bar, barbecue, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.
High School Senior Honored For Volunteerism
HOWELL – Howell High School graduating senior Dakota Giordano has been recognized by the Howell Alliance for her four years of volunteer service to the community. As a youth leader with the Howell Alliance, she’s worked on behind-the-scenes projects and community-facing events to advance substance use prevention and mental well-being. She’s also played a part in several trainings and youth conferences to increase her own education and ability to help others in need of support.
BTHS alumna receives Sharing Network Foundation scholarship
BRICK TOWNSHIP — Kimmy Kenny of Brick Township, who is a 2024 graduate of Brick Township High School, was one of seven high school students awarded scholarships from the Sharing Network Foundation. Earlier this month, they were presented the scholarships at NJ Sharing Network’s headquarters in New Providence. Kenny will be attending Ocean County College (OCC) and told The Ocean Star that she plans to attend OCC for two years before transferring into a four year college.
TCMS collecting school supplies for kids
TIPP CITY — Tipp Monroe Community Services is collecting school supplies for children in Tipp City and Monroe Township from July 1 through Aug. 1. Book bags and school supplies are given out during the last two weeks of the Lunch On Us summer lunch program, said a Tipp Monroe Community Services. Several blue donation tubs are around Tipp City, including the TMCS office, Monroe Federal at both branches, Tipp City Public Library, and Zack Jacobs-State Farm Insurance. All donations are greatly appreciated.

WALL TOWNSHIP — In the name of exploration and discovery, the InfoAge Science and History Museums kicked off its summer camp “Space Week” earlier this week, taking middle schoolers on a hands-on adventure through the cosmos.
