Hawk Tuah girl 'maximizes' 15 minutes of fame with sweet charitable donation

Since launching to internet fame in June, Hawk Tuah girl hasn't wasted her opportunity in the public eye. From signing with a talent agency , appearing with superstars of music and sport , and filing a trademark , Hailey Welch is looking to, in the Tennessee native's own words, "maximize" her fifteen minutes of fame.

But while the 21-year-old is ambitious to capitalize on her internet prominence, Welch also showed her charitable streak in a recent Instagram video . Clearly an animal lover, Hawk Tuah girl donates food to an animal shelter and encourages her followers to do their part for the charitable cause.

The video caption read: "If I only have 15 minutes of fame then I’m going to spend every last minute of it doing the right thing. Let’s try and find a home for these sweet lil cats & dogs", she wrote. "Please head over to @mjasvolunteerorganization to get started!"

In the video, which is soundtracked by Dolly Parton's 9 to 5, Hailey goes to a local supermarket, stocking up on animal feed. She provides context to her rapid rise to fame by saying "a month ago, I couldn't afford that."

Hailey then plays with a dog named 'Blondie', who she implores her followers to adopt, after the dog has spent over 130 days in the shelter, with a plea of "come get this girl."
