Kacey Musgraves Signals New Awakening With 'Deeper Well' On Another Level

Kacey Musgraves unveiled all seven new additions to the Deeper Well track list with the deluxe edition’s arrival on Friday (August 2).

The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter’s newest additions to her Deeper Well era include two collaborations: “Superbloom,” with Leon Bridges and “Perfection,” featuring Tiny Habits . Musgraves announced the expanded collection of her fifth studio album last week. She debuted “Irish Goodbye” at that time, which serves as the final track on the now 21-track project. The deluxe album also includes a bonus track Musgraves unveiled shortly after the original 14-track record's release in March. Musgraves perviously described Deeper Well as “a collection of songs I hold very dear to my heart. I hope it makes a home in all of your hearts, too.”

“I crafted a collection of songs new and old that pick up where ‘Deeper Well’ began, continuing the spring awakening and pulling us into the rest of summer and onward,” Musgraves said, per her record label, adding that “collaborating with Leon Bridges and Tiny Habits, whom I greatly admire, was an absolute joy.”

Musgaraves will mark Deeper into the Well ’s arrival with pop-up shops at farmer’s markets at Amqui in Nashville, Melrose Place in Los Angeles, Wicker Park in Chicago and Metro NYC at Riverview Jersey City on Sunday (August 4), a press release from her label states. Next month, Musgraves will kick go her North American “ Deeper Well World Tour ” stops, which run through early December with two nights at Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
