Project Never Broken holding celebration of life Sunday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A celebration of life for Greg Ferency is coming to Terre Haute Sunday.

Project Never Broken will remember fallen Terre Haute police detective Greg Ferency. It’s the third anniversary of his death and end of watch. The ceremony will be held at Afterburner Brewing.

Project Never Broken founder/executive director Shelley Klingerman says that the celebration has grown to honor all law enforcement.

“When people come back to celebrate your life, you’ve lived a good life,” Klingerman said. “We’ve noticed that the last couple years, the crowds keep getting bigger. This has turned into a celebration of Greg’s life and legacy, but it’s also for the profession as a whole.”

The celebration of life will take place from 1-6 p.m. on July 7.
