Terre Haute Car Show returns to Collett Park

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Another display took place in Terre Haute with the help of 12 Points Revitalization.

Over 200 cars set up in Collett Park for a car show. The event drew a large crowd, and featured vehicles of all shapes and sizes. There were even awards for participants to take home. Events board chair Delilah Rixner says that the event is the most recent success by 12 Points Revitalization for the community.

“We’re having super great success with the First Fridays, we’ve got stuff with Harmony Hall, and the car show is just a really great tradition that has a really good following as most car shows do,” Rixner said. “Having it every year and watching it grow and get bigger really solidifies our place in the community, as well as giving people a good opportunity to come out to Collett Park and get outside for something.”

The next 12 Points Revitalization event will be First Friday on August 2.
