TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Wabash Valley Road Runners are starting weekly runs.

The runs will be every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Meadows Shopping Center in Terre Haute. Board member Leah Singer said these runs are for people of all ages and speed.

She said they want to provide a way for people to be active while discovering the beauty of Vigo County.

“This club and community are not just for people who run fast and run races,” Singer said. “You can come out here and just enjoy moving, seeing our beautiful parks, and experience moving through Terre Haute and Vigo County.”

The first run begins this week, and they plan to cool down afterwards at Poplar Pub.
