The Station hosts soul food cooking class

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– Friday, The Station co-working space hosted a cooking class featuring Anna’s Soul Food.

Anna’s Soul Food is a local small business in Terre Haute, Indiana. Those who attended Friday’s class got to dive into the rich history and vibrant flavors of soul food. Attendees also got the chance to learn classic soul food recipes and modern takes on southern cuisine.

Director of Membership at The Station, Lindsey English said the station plans on doing more event like tonight to help support local businesses.

“The community is constantly looking for more fun things to do and I think this is a great example of this. To be able to do that and support small local business.”
