NEW JERSEY - Two New Jersey swimmers, Matt Fallon of Warren and Jack Alexy of Mendham, have earned spots in the U.S. trials for the 2024 Olympics, which kick off in Paris on July 26. HILLSIDE — In the latest hot spill lawsuit against Dunkin' in New Jersey, a Union County woman claims she suffered severe and permanent burns on her hand due to negligence. Essence Springer bought a hot mint tea at the Dunkin' drive-thru on Liberty Avenue in Hillside on Dec. 17, 2023, according to the lawsuit filed last week.

Cranford Police Department's Youth Academy Was a Rousing Success
CRANFORD, NJ – Last week, Cranford Police Department hosted their annual Youth Academy which provides middle-school participants with hands-on exposure to various aspects of law enforcement. The Youth Academy offered 40 local Cranford cadets the unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement and gain valuable life skills along the way. “Our goal is to give these kids a real sense of what it means to be a police officer,” said Detective Ali Muhammad, organizer of this year’s academy.
