WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — A 41-year-old Electra man found sitting in the traffic lane of Highway 25 with a meth flashlight last year is now in jail after security agents said they found meth in his crotch as he tried to board a plane at the Wichita Falls airport.

Jesse Croyle has a new charge of possession of a controlled substance and a motion to revoke his probation sentence from last January for the other possession of meth charge is pending.

TSA agents at the airport stopped Croyle on Saturday afternoon when they saw him grabbing at his crotch as he was going through screening.

He was taken to a room and told to remove his pants, and agents said he then reached into his pants and brought out some needles and a baggie containing what tested to be meth.

Croyle was placed on five years of probation last January for another meth possession charge. Deputies said they got reports of a man crawling on Highway 25 near Electra and found him sitting in the southbound lane.

They said he appeared disoriented and unsteady, his speech was slurred, and he did not know where he was.

A search was made despite his protest it was not legal, and deputies say they found meth inside a flashlight that was in his pocket.

After failing to show up for a court hearing on August 1, his bond was ordered forfeited on the motion to revoke.
