WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Catholic Charities is marking a big milestone for its Northwest Campus! The organization is celebrating 10 years of service since 2014.

The Northwest Campus has helped the community with different needs, like financial assistance and mental health counseling referrals, as well as helping veterans with housing and counseling.

Laura Sotelo with the Northwest Campus says working with the nonprofit has been a humbling experience for her.

“It’s hard asking for help. And so when people come to us and are willing to say, Hey, I need help, then it’s a really humbling experience,” she said. “So I think it’s helped me be more patient, more caring, and just really passionate about the work we do.”
