WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to continue for the next couple of days, with chances slowly decreasing as we head toward the middle of the week. Though temperatures will be “cooler” and start getting closer to -near average- temperatures, conditions will likely be a bit humid. For now, the low tonight in Wichita Falls will be 71 degrees, with a high tomorrow of 88 degrees. Lawton will have an overnight low tonight of 71 degrees also with a high tomorrow of 91 degrees.

By the end of the weekend, a cool front is expected to start pushing southward, eventually reaching Texoma, helping to temporarily relieve the area of humid conditions. The chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms continues toward the end of this coming week, with another cool front expected to push into the area with a Wednesday and Thursday timeframe.
